Faith has been a guiding light throughout my life. During seasons of joy and seasons of challenge, I have learned that God is faithful, loving, and present in every step of the journey.
This page is dedicated to sharing encouragement, hope, and inspiration rooted in faith. My prayer is that these words remind you that you are never alone and that God is always at work, even in moments when we cannot see the path ahead.
Finding Strength in Faith

One of the inspirations behind Lillo and the Backyard Blessings is the belief that blessings often arrive in unexpected ways.
Through friendship, kindness, perseverance, and love, we can discover God’s presence in the everyday moments of life.
Every person, every family, and every story has value and purpose.
A Personal Reflection
Faith has guided me through many seasons of life, as an educator, family advocate, author, and lifelong learner. Through moments of joy and moments of uncertainty, I have found comfort in knowing that God is always present.
One of the greatest blessings in my life has been recognizing God’s hand in everyday moments: in family, friendships, learning, and even in the unexpected gift of a little white cat named Lillo who inspired a children’s book and brought countless blessings into our lives.
My hope is that this page encourages others to hold on to faith, trust God’s timing, and find gratitude in the simple blessings that surround them every day.

Heavenly Father,
Thank You for Your love, grace, and faithfulness. Help us to trust You during difficult times and to remain grateful during times of blessing. Guide our steps, strengthen our hearts, and help us share kindness and compassion with others.
May we be a light to those around us and find peace in Your presence each day.
